We at Mylas Technologies are seeking an experienced
Senior .NET Developer to join our
dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in .NET development and a
proven track record of building scalable, secure, and
high-performance applications. As a key member of our
development team, you will work on innovative projects,
collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to
the development of cutting-edge software solutions that
drive business success.
This is a 12 month contract role based in Dublin.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and
secure applications using the .NET framework, including
ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Core.

Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end
components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal
performance.

Analyze business requirements, propose technical
solutions, and create detailed system designs and
technical documentation.

Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate
third-party services to extend application
functionality.

Develop, optimize, and manage relational databases using
MS SQL Server. Write complex queries, stored procedures,
and database triggers.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring
applications meet high scalability and reliability
standards.

Write and maintain unit tests, ensure code quality
through peer reviews, and adhere to established coding
standards and best practices.

Stay updated with the latest .NET technologies and best
practices, continuously improving existing applications
and processes.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and C#.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
(OOP) principles.
Technical Skills
-
Expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3,
JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.

Proficiency in relational database design and
development (MS SQL Server).

Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or
AWS.

Knowledge of microservices architecture and
containerization using Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
